Tell us the story behind the makeup for this show?
Marcello: We wanted something fresh, clean, and playful — a look that reflected the collection’s youthful spirit. The “no makeup” makeup with a soft pink touch brought that idea to life and echoed one of the key colors in the designer’s palette.
Which elements of the makeup reflect the collection, and which ones intentionally break from it?
Marcello: The soft pink ties directly to the collection’s main color story, but we broke the symmetry. Instead of structured lines, we used an asymmetrical pink eyeshadow — more fluid and natural — to highlight each model’s individuality.
Is there one particular detail that really carried the look?
Marcello: Yes, the placement of the pink around the eyes. It wasn’t applied traditionally but adapted to each model’s face, creating an effortless, expressive feel instead of a fixed shape.
