The limited-edition Pat McGrath doll will be coming to mattelcreations.com and selected stores soon.

Barbie is pledging to foster a greater awareness on gender stereotypes and how they can be obstructive in terms of women landing executive positions. The multi-layered campaign presents 12 trailblazing women, whereby the McGrath edition is a highlight, focusing on a talent that usually acts behind the camera and that is deeply rooted within the beauty industry.

In efforts to stray away from outdated, patriarchal ideals and represent more inclusive forms and trajectories of women in business, Barbie has designated „Sheroes“; female role models ranging from a myriad of professional backgrounds. This year Pat McGrath and her eponymous Makeup brand enrich the selection of female entrepreneurs that ought to encourage young girls to actualize their dreams.
