Carlo Rossi and Fabio Mureddo’s latest work is an evocative visual journey drawing inspiration from Liliana Cavani’s seminal Italian cinema masterpiece, The Night Porter. Building on this, the duo has incorporated elements from other influential sources, including Madonna’s production, which was also heavily influenced by Cavani’s work. The themes addressed, however grim, have left an indelible mark on the overall composition of the story. In the process, Carlo and Fabio also took their cue from the subversive and hyper-sexual art of THOM from Finland, as well as the vibrant and dynamic gay underground scene of the 70s, culminating their exclusive story for TUSH.
