In a captivating collaboration, Sindiso Khumalo and her eponymous „happy-go-lucky“ label have joined forces with &Other Stories to unveil an ultra-feminine line that pays homage to her South African background. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant attire of the coastal province of Kwazulu-Natal, the limited-edition collection features a range of airy dresses, aquarelle-colored playsuits, detachable collars and swimwear, among other pieces. The CSM graduate and LVMH prize-winner has been working to unearth the richness of her heritage, embodying cultural symbols and bringing back the bliss of a garment.
„Clothing can be a form of medicine. It can evoke emotions and make you feel strong, alive and empowered. That is what I want to achieve with my designs: to make women feel strong, extraordinary and unique. I love the idea that clothes embody an element of happiness when you buy them – be it the print or the colour,“ says Sindiso Khumalo.
