Escaping realities might have become a new lifestyle considering the entrance in digital worlds like the metaverse and the recreation of golden decades. Futurism, retro escapism and Y2K: Trends that already shaped 2022 will definetly continue this year. Being back to normal, going out to clubs and concerts reminds us of the crazy underground scene of the 90s, centered in New York and Berlin. Its fit? Distressed knits, denim and plateau boots were the go-to-pieces. For 2023 we call it Grown-up Grunge with Isabel Marant centering her whole menswear FW collection around this style.

Urban looks are not only being created through baggy pants, chelsea boots and flanell shirts but also with undone hairstyles that remind us of Nirvana and the Foo Fighters. Blond highlights in brown hair make the look appear a bit greasy – on purpose! „Business in the front, party in the back“ – the associations with this haircut fit the parisian lifestyle and enable to either dress up or down. Low-Maintenance hairstyles are for every slacker out their, who likes to get ready in a minute.
