18-year old Quannah Chasing Horse Potts is not a regular fashion model – yet part of the new Calvin Klein’s campaign one future #ckone. The American woman is so stunning she could have been hired by CK just because of her appearance, but she has an equally powerful vision: Quannah advocates to obtain wilderness designation (permanent protection, especially from oil development) for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. She’s passionate about climate change and environmental justice, a musician, plays basketball and is apprenticing as a tattoo artist.
By portraying young, inspirational and unique characters across the US, Calvin Klein captures, besides their fashion collection, a new wave of young role models and visionaries. The diverse mix of characters is truly unique – Just as Quannah’s character.
We spoke to the young woman about her own inspiration and point of view.
