Milan Fashion Week F/W 19/20:

Moncler

The strategy developed by Remo Ruffini with #monclergenius since 2018 is well working – in terms of business. Instead of delivering one mono-directional seasonal proposition, it’s about a multiplied identity with as many drops in the retail reality. So clever. For the FW2019/2020 mega event  (an entire street close the fabulous Mussolinian central station has been privatized), the Moncler family welcomes new members. The most radical and spectacular is Richard Quinn, the British new pope of prints. For once, full florals are really groundbreaking. Pierpalo Piccioli, the revered creative director of Valentino continues his exploration of couture volumes. Transforming down jackets into sculptural masterpieces, he worked this time in association with the top model Liya Kebede for Africa inspired patterns.
