Whenever Prada is presenting its new collection, you have to see the defilée twice: One time for the fashion, one time for the beauty looks, usually designed by Pat McGrath.
For Fall/Winter 2021/22, the iconic make up artist is playing with double standards, in the most mesmerising way: Combing both sides of the medal, gold and silver, eye were accentuated either with a full metallic finish or hints of reflection on a lavender-sky-tinted lid (using her own make up line, of course). Whereas the shape remained aligned, metallic tones were mismatched, an optical error, almost robotic, but with a romantic aura due to perfected, moonlit skin.
Individuality is beautiful and even more so if it’s represented within one look.
