Months of conceptualising, casting, cutting, hours of hair and make-up preparations, a choreography, yet with moments of chaos: New York Fashion Week’s shows are more than a fashion presentation, often they are a cinematic spectacle – and best captured as such.
A soft nod to the past but with a fresh interpretation is many designers‘ inspiration, but also our video artist Nate DeCarlo’s style.
He went backstage at Self Portrait, Ulla Johnson, Sandy Liang, Jonathan Cohen, Collina Strada, The Blonds, Adeam, Eckhaus Latta and Christian Cowan to catch euphoric and melancholic moments, beauty details created by pros of Bobbi Brown, Bumble and Bumble, Mac and Nars.
