With a solid foundation in design, a passion for material and eye for color, South Korean-born and London-based designer Rejina Pyo has build a fashion house for modern women. Her signature silhouettes are both powerful and delicate, framing the body poetically yet practically – And this is also the approach Pyo has brought into her new collaboration with &other stories.
Contrast of material, from silk to linen, a sensitive palette of color, shapes between sheerly floating plus hyper structured and diversity in texture are key to her co-lab. The collection feels rough at times, in the best way, but also atmospheric, dreamy – and reminds of an atmosphere we often see in urban architecture and city structures – especially in Berlin, a city that is both strong and sensitive, just like the woman Pyo pictures.
To explore those similarities and reflect the aesthetic we plotted a story between pastel colored tower blocks and clear space, multi faceted, sheer and clear.
