Fashion Week F/W 19/20 Men – Day 4

DIOR

If you think that a runaway show is always with (cat)walking models, you get it wrong. Kim Jones, the creative officer for Dior menswear (the brand is now unified) has set up an gigantic conveyor belt carrying out his motionless boys. After all, it was not only a feast for the eyes but also a clever comeback that hit the essence of a fashion presentation: clothes are more important than models, even if we spotted on the rolling stage some of our favorite show boys like Kohei Takabatake or Malick Bodian. The collection was hugely and nicely styled with plethora of accessories, from Saddle backpacks to bulletproof style harnesses. On the menu: neutral tones and animalier (Kim Jones has lived his childhood in Africa) for daywear, and crisp suits with dramatic draping for the evening. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Tush special guest Miss Fame were ecstatic by this real tour-de-force.
