Why „Bass Persuades“ might be Miley’s most immediate album yet

Miley turns her life into pop while it’s still happening: from the dance floor to falling in love and saying yes

“Having this record keep up with the way my life moves in real time and still feel so alive is special.” With those words, Miley introduces Bass Persuades. Her tenth studio album (out now ) feels like a document of her life as it unfolds:

Across nine tracks (+ „Bass Persuades“ Remix), she invites us to join her dancing („Bass Persuades“), fall in love („Orbit“, „REDLIGHT“) and maybe even get married („Let’s get Married“) – releasing the record in time before her wedding to her fiancé Maxx Morando. It’s Miley at her most immediate: living it, making it, and giving it to us in real time.

For this era, she doesn’t need a last name. Miley is enough. Everyone knows exactly which pop icon we’re talking about.
