Coming of age – the epitome of awkwardness and irreverence, at least for those of us who grew up in the small confines of moral sense. New York-based photographer Dennis Tejero’s work incites the many facets of adolescence, especially in relation to the Punk Rock genre that was never purely constrained to music only. While being heavily inspired by subcultural underground, Dennis makes out the passage of a girl diverging from an else wise normcore surrounding. „I thought it would be cool to give a representation of that but also give a different take on the usual punk hair and makeup styles, but still being true to the energy.“
