„Based on the concept of the historical and much-adapted Pierrot clown – As a character born of the theatrical world, the makeup used to portray Pierrot’s emotion, which was key to his expression. We wanted to twist the traditionally male-presenting character and give her a new freedom to express herself after so many centuries of being shown as subservient and melancholy. Makeup artist Aimi Osada took the classic Pierrot makeup looks and translated them into something modern and fresh, allowing our own Pierrot to express herself in a more diverse range – not only her melancholy, but her anger, her shock, and cunning.“ – Laur Lončar
